Jovana Emilia Knežević graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. She obtained her Master’s degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Malmo University (Sweden).
From 2016 to 2020 she was employed at the Serbian Associtaion of Employers, holding positions as Advisor for General and Legal Affairs and Advisor in the International Sector.
She has participated in various projects: coordinating the project “Good Mentor = Excellent Practice!”; co-authoring the Mentor Handbook; authoring the brochure “Rights of Youth in Employment”; drafting the practical policy proposal “Internships Leading to Employment,” among others.
She has been a member of the following working groups: member of the working group for drafting the Draft Law on Social Entrepreneurship; member of the Management Board of the project “Support to the Employment Program of the National Employment Service” (NES) – IPA 2013, etc.
From November to December 2016, she attended the Academy on Social Dialogue and Industrial Relations in Turin, Italy, organized by the International Labour Organization’s International Training Centre (ITCILO).
From May to June 2017, she participated in the International Training Course on Labour and Social Policies for Decent Work in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
Since 2022, she has been employed by the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Serbia as International Cooperation Officer.
Her native languages are Swedish and Serbian. She is fluent in English.
