Representatives of the National Accreditation Body (NAT) participated in a meeting with students of Kraljevo Gymnasium, attended also by students from the Art School of Kraljevo, with the aim of introducing young people to the higher education quality assurance system and the importance of study program accreditation.
During the discussion, students had the opportunity to learn about the accreditation process, how the quality of higher education institutions and study programs is evaluated, and why it is important for prospective students to consider accreditation status when choosing a university or faculty.
NAT representatives spoke about the institution’s role in enhancing the quality of higher education in Serbia, the criteria that institutions must meet to obtain accreditation, and how accredited study programs contribute to the acquisition of relevant knowledge and competencies necessary for further education and professional development.
Students showed great interest in the topic, asking questions about the differences between accredited and non-accredited programs, the international recognition of degrees, and the importance of quality standards in education.
The visit to Kraljevo Gymnasium provided graduating students with an opportunity to become familiar with key aspects of higher education that will help them make informed decisions when choosing a faculty and planning their academic future.
