At the 20th session of the Management Board of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education, held on December 24, 2025, decisions were adopted on the election of two members of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance from among faculty members of higher education institutions. The election was conducted on the basis of public calls, in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and the applicable acts of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education, with due consideration given to the candidates’ professional and scientific references, teaching experience, and relevant professional engagement.
Dr. Vladimir Arsenijević, Assistant Professor in the narrow scientific field of Surgery, was elected as a member of the Commission from the educational-scientific field of Medical Sciences. Dr. Arsenijević completed his specialization in General Surgery in 2003 and his subspecialization in Emergency Surgery in 2015 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Since 2003, Dr. Arsenijević has been continuously employed at the Emergency Center of the University Clinical Center of Serbia, where, over many years of work, he has gained extensive clinical experience in the field of Emergency Surgery. Within this institution, he also served as Head of Admissions at the Emergency Center of the UCCS. In 2015, he defended his doctoral dissertation in the narrow scientific field of Surgical Anatomy. Since 2015, he has also been engaged in teaching as a clinical assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, at the Department of Surgery with Anesthesiology, where he participated in the delivery of teaching. In December 2025, Singidunum University elected Dr. Arsenijević to the position of Assistant Professor in the narrow scientific field of Surgery. In addition to his clinical and teaching engagements, Dr. Arsenijević is the author of numerous scientific papers published in prestigious domestic and international scientific journals in the fields of Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Gordana Radić, Full Professor in the narrow scientific field of Applied Chemistry at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Kragujevac, was elected as a member of the Commission from the educational-scientific field of Natural and Mathematical Sciences. In 2012, she defended her doctoral dissertation in the narrow scientific field of Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac. Dr. Radić has held the title of Full Professor since May 2023, and carries out her teaching and scientific activities within the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Kragujevac. Her scientific research work includes numerous papers published in domestic and international scientific journals, as well as participation in and leadership of scientific projects. In addition to her research work, she actively participates in teaching. She serves as a mentor to doctoral academic studies students in the preparation of their doctoral dissertations.
The National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education extends its congratulations to the newly elected members of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance and expresses its confidence that their professional and academic experience will contribute to the further high-quality, responsible, and consistent work of the Commission, with the aim of improving the quality assurance system in higher education in the Republic of Serbia.
