At the 168th session of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance, held today, a decision was adopted on the appointment of the President of the expert body of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Prof. Dr. Mirković, who had previously served as Deputy President and had been acting as head of the Commission following the dismissal of the former President, was appointed President of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance.
As a reminder, at the 154th session held on December 30, 2025, Prof. Dr. Milorad Milovančević was relieved of his duties as President by a majority vote of the members. In the meantime, Prof. Dr. Predrag Mirković, as Deputy President, performed all responsibilities in order to ensure continuity in the Commission’s work.
Today’s decision formalizes his appointment to the leading position, thereby ensuring the continued stable operation of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in accordance with its legal authorities and established procedures. It is expected that under the new leadership, the Commission will continue its activities aimed at improving the system of accreditation and quality assurance in higher education.
