Director of the NEAQA visited University of Nis on September 30th, 2019

Prof. Dr. Jelena Kocovic, director of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Serbia (NEAQA), and Aleksandar Jovic, PhD, responsible for education in NEAQA, visited the University of Nis on Monday, September 30th, 2019 and met with Prof. Dr. Dragan Antic, rector of the University of Nis, and Prof. Dr. Evica Petrovic, vice-rector of the university. Director Kocovic informed the management of the University of Nis about the NEAQA’s efforts to resolve a large number of inherited requests for accreditation from the technical mandate of the previous Commission for Accreditation and Quality Control (CAQA) as soon as possible, while respecting all legal deadlines and conditions. It was agreed to intensify the collaboration between the universities and NEAQA in line to resolve eventual misunderstanding regarding the implementation of the new guidelines, procedures and software NEAQA2019 in a direct communication.

Meeting with the representatives of the universities Prof. Dr. Ivanka Popovic, rector of the University of Belgrade, Prof. Dr. Nenad Filipovic, rector of the University of Kragujevac, Prof. Dr. Dragan Antic, rector of the University of Nis, Prof. Dr. Miladin Kostic, rector of the State University of Novi Pazar, and Prof. Dr. Dejan Madic, vice-rector of the University of Novi Sad, was organised during the NEAQA’s representatives visit to the University of Nis.
