At the ceremonial graduation event of the Higher School of Vocational Studies for Information Technologies (ITS), held on January 27, 2026, in Belgrade, the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NEAQA) was presented with the award
“Strategic Partner for Quality in Higher Education – 2025.”
This recognition was granted as an expression of appreciation for the continuous cooperation, professional support, and significant contribution that NEAQA provides to the development and improvement of the higher education system in the Republic of Serbia.
The award citation emphasized that NEAQA’s institutional approach, consistent application of academic standards, and continuous improvement of quality assurance procedures play a long-term role in strengthening trust in the education system, increasing transparency, and enhancing international recognition.
Special emphasis was placed on the positive impact of NEAQA’s work in:
- improving the quality of study programs,
- strengthening the accountability of higher education institutions,
- creating a clear and stable regulatory framework,
- aligning education with labor market needs.
The award was presented on behalf of the Higher School of Vocational Studies for Information Technologies, along with sincere gratitude to the institution and representatives of NEAQA for their dedication, openness to dialogue, and constructive cooperation with the academic community.
On this occasion, the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education once again confirms its key role in developing a culture of quality in higher education in Serbia and strengthening trust among all stakeholders in the education system.
