PUBLIC CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR CANDIDATES FOR INTERNATIONAL REVIEWERS IN THE ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE OF DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAMMES OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
For the purpose of selecting candidates for international reviewers in the accreditation procedure of doctoral study programmes of higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia and establishing the List of Reviewers, the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (hereinafter: NEAQA) publishes on its official website the Public Call for applications for candidates for international reviewers in the accreditation procedure of doctoral study programmes of higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia (hereinafter: the Public Call).
International reviewers in the accreditation procedure of doctoral study programmes of higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia (hereinafter: Reviewers) may be selected from among teaching staff employed at a higher education institution abroad, holding an appropriate academic title.
The List of Reviewers is established by the Management Board of NEAQA and published on the official website of NEAQA, containing more detailed information about the reviewers.
CONDITIONS AND CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF CANDIDATES
A condition for the selection of candidates for international reviewers in the accreditation procedure of doctoral study programmes of higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia is that the candidate is a member of academic staff employed at a higher education institution abroad, holding an appropriate academic title.
When selecting candidates, consideration will be given to their professional and scientific or artistic contribution, experience in accreditation and quality assurance in higher education, participation in projects, international academic experience, and other elements stated in the application form for candidates from higher education institutions (Form No. 1a), which constitutes an integral part of this Public Call.
A reviewer may not be a person who has been elected, appointed or designated to a position in a state authority, an authority of an autonomous province or local self-government, a body of a political party, a management body of a higher education institution, a member of the National Council for Higher Education, the Accreditation Commission of NEAQA, the Appeals Commission of NEAQA, nor a person employed by NEAQA.
APPLICATION DEADLINE AND PROCEDURE
The Public Call is permanently open, and applications will be considered from the date of publication of the Public Call on the official website of the NEAQA: www.nat.rs.
Applications for international reviewers are submitted by providing:
- a completed and signed application form for candidates from abroad (Form No. 1a);
- a photocopy of the passport;
- a valid decision on election to academic title, as well as confirmation from the higher education institution whose competent body issued the decision on election to the title, confirming the candidate’s employment status.

Reviewers who are already included in the List of Reviewers are not required to reapply under this Public Call.
